This is a small group guided tour.  If you wish to book a general visit only, please visit our Theatre and Garden Visit page.

Rowena Cade created the Minack Theatre in harmony with the landscape of Cornwall.  Since the 1990s we have developed the Minack garden to showcase an extraordinary variety of plants that thrive on the side of a Cornish cliff. Our gardeners think of the Minack as a series of raised beds. They are delighted to share their wealth of experience as Chelsea Gold Award winners.

Head Gardener Jeff Rowe or Claire Batten will guide you around the Minack. Discover the unique challenges of our cliffside garden and how they enable our plants to flourish in the harsh conditions. There will be tips on coastal gardening and drought tolerant planting. They'll be happy to answer your gardening questions.

Discover more about the Minack.   Book one of our special Guided Tours of the theatre.  Places on each tour are limited. Headsets are provided for ease of listening.

Each tour will last about an hour.  Our tours include walking up and down long flights of steps around the theatre.  If you have limited mobility or prefer not to climb steps, you can listen to the tour on a headset.  If you have concerns about access or mobility, please contact our box office to check that this tour is suitable for your situation.

You are welcome to remain in the theatre after your tour, to explore on your own and visit the Rowena Cade Exhibition. You do not need to buy a visit ticket!
