Join former Theatre Manager, Phil Jackson, to discover the dramatic history of the Minack Theatre. The Minack has been a part of Phil's life for many years and he knows more tales about it than anyone else. Discover how the Minack was created by Rowena Cade and how it survived war and financial crisis to become world-famous. Learn about the challenge of staging shows on a Cornish cliff and some of the unforeseen things that happen when nature takes a hand in the drama.

Each tour will last about an hour. Our tours include walking up and down long flights of steps around the theatre. If you have limited mobility or prefer not to climb steps, you can listen to the tour on a headset. If you have concerns about access or mobility, please contact our box office to check that this tour is suitable for your situation.
You are welcome to remain in the theatre after your tour, to explore on your own and visit the Rowena Cade Exhibition. You do not need to buy a visit ticket!
