Internationally renowned harpist Ruth Wall returns to the Minack stage performing on her three unique harps. She will play a mix of traditional, folk and new music from around the British Isles and beyond, creating rich layers of sound which loop and evolve in mesmerising patterns. Celebrated composer Graham Fitkin will introduce the programme and join Ruth on stage for a couple of musical surprises.

Scottish harpist Ruth Wall has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Royal Opera House, Gucci 75th celebrations in Rome and Florence, Radio City New York, as part of the London Olympic celebrations and for the HRH Prince of Wales and HRH The Queen. She has performed as a soloist with the London Chamber Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra and toured extensively with British band Goldfrapp, Kathryn Tickell and with her husband, composer Graham Fitkin, in their band FitkinWall.
Ruth has recorded at Abbey Road, Maida Vale Studios and has appeared on BBC Radios 1, 2, 3 and 4 and on TV – Jools Holland, Rick Stein and Jay Leno’s shows amongst others. She features as a soloist in the 2017 animated film Loving Vincent, in Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers as well as on John Lunn’s soundtrack for the BBC series The White Queen.
